Womens Networking Breakfast. Bean & Bean Abergavenny South Wales.

There’s only one thing on Earth that can make me get out of the house at 6:40 and that’s the Bean & Bread woman networking breakfast!

Hosted by Amy of POW Fitness and Jess of Bean & Bread, the woman networking breakfast is always a wonderful start to my month and I’m thrilled to see it going from strength to strength!

Where to start with the praise for this event?!

Bean and Bread is my favourite spot in Abergavenny, one of these days Jess is going to find me stowed away in a closet! I mean have you seen the place?! It’s the most gorgeous environment, if someone asked me to make a pinterest board of my dream decor, this would be it! The food is always sooo good, actual addiction to the white chocolate cronuts, drooling at the thought. They stock green tea from Keiko of Steepologists which has honestly just ruined all other green tea for me. All in all 10 out of 10, would recommend!

This month we had the pleasure of being catered by Clara of Eden Dining.

Not only did her treats blow my tastebuds socks off but her whole presentation was beautiful! I genuinely considered stealing away some of her vegan banana loads away in my handbag… The woman is a master but then I suppose not anyone with a rolling pin can earn Prue Leith’s diploma like Clara has. Final note, macarons for breakfast, not just any macarons but shiny silver out of this world macarons, oh my word yes!

As a bit of an introvert I was very nervous when I attended the first event last year, now I know I really hadn’t needed to! Amy and Jess have fostered a really welcoming, warm and safe space created to help women in business support one another. The group isn’t designed to pitch sleazy sales at each other. No, its a friendly place to meet like minded woman to create genuine connections with! It’s somewhere where everybody knows your name, they’re always glad you came and …hang on… that’s the Cheers theme tune…

This month Alex of AJ Communications took to the floor to talk to us about her business and how her expertise in communications benefits businesses big and small. It was a fantastic presentation that was very insightful and equally entertaining thanks to her wonderful stick men illustrations on her D.I.Y picture board. A woman of many talents!
