There’s something really special about being around other mothers who just get it, isn’t there? No explaining, no second guessing, no feeling like you need to hide away or cover up. Just a quiet understanding that what you’re doing, however it looks for you, is enough. That’s exactly why I’ve created this breastfeeding event in Brecon, and I’d truly love for you to be part of it.

On the 4th of August, in celebration of World Breastfeeding Week, I’ll be hosting a small, intimate group breastfeeding event in Brecon. I’m looking for five mothers and their little ones to join me for something really simple and gentle.
We’ll gather, take a slow walk together along the river, and then settle down in a beautiful spot where I’ll guide you to sit, get comfortable, and feed your babies while I quietly document the moment.
Nothing too forced or staged.
Just you, your baby, and other women doing the same thing alongside you.
I’ve been holding a breastfeeding event in Brecon like this for the past three years now, and every single time, I come away feeling so moved by it. There’s a kind of softness that settles over the group once everyone relaxes into it. You can almost feel the shoulders drop, the breath deepen.

Because feeding your baby in the company of other women who are doing the same thing… it’s powerful in a really quiet way.
And I know that breastfeeding can be a journey. Sometimes it begins smoothly, sometimes it really doesn’t. There can be challenges, doubts, moments where you wonder if you’re doing it “right.”
That’s why spaces like this matter.
This breastfeeding event in Brecon is about celebrating your experience—whatever that looks like. Whether this is your first baby or your third, whether you’re tandem feeding, exclusively pumping, chest feeding, or giving your baby donated milk… you are so welcome here.

There is no one version of this story. And you deserve to feel proud of yours.
As well as capturing those shared moments by the river, I’ll also take some time with each of you individually. Just you and your baby, in this beautiful setting, held by nature. Those quieter portraits often become the ones you return to again and again.
The whole session is free of charge, and you’ll receive one digital image as a thank you from me. If you fall in love with more (which many mothers do), you’ll have the option to purchase all of your images for £50.

I’ve also opened up space for one slightly longer, private session on the same day for a mother who might want something a little more personal. That will take place after the group session and is £95—just let me know if that’s something you’re drawn to.
But truly, the heart of this breastfeeding event in Brecon is the coming together.
It’s the shared glances, the small smiles, the unspoken “you’re doing amazing” that passes between women who understand exactly what this season asks of you.

Because let’s be honest for a moment, you are giving so much of yourself right now. Your time, your energy, your body, your patience. And even on the days where it feels hard, or repetitive, or unnoticed… what you’re doing matters. Deeply.
So if you’ve been craving a moment to pause, to be around others, to feel held in your experience, this breastfeeding event in Brecon is for you.

A few house keeping points, I will share these images on my platforms online but I never share images where children faces are visible. Should you accept my invite I will be here to help you prepare for the day, including what to wear, I know that is the first question that springs to mind for most! I really hope you can join us for this one, it’s going to be spectacular.
