Good morning pregnant folk, I have something really exciting to share with you! I’m on a maternity photoshoot model search! It’s been a while since I did one of these but I have the most amazing vision of a pregnancy photoshoot I’d like to create and to do this I need you! So read on to find out the details of this styled maternity photoshoot.
First things first, what is a styled maternity photoshoot? Simply put a styled photoshoot is a photoshoot in which the photographer has all creative control to create images they can use for their marketing. I am in the process of updating my portfolio to include more of the sort of work that I love, the stuff that gives me a spark! For me that’s creating images of Motherhood out in nature. Which brings me nicely to my next point….
The details of this maternity photoshoot! The session will be taking place on a beautiful beach along the Glamorgan heritage coast on the 13th of April 2024 at 6:30pm. I know some people are a little superstitious about the 13th days of months but I can’t think of a better day to celebrate the power of a woman’s body growing life! Did you know that the number 13 is associated with the goddess Freya, the goddess of love, fertility, beauty, sex, war, death, gold, and magic?
Anyway! Let’s get back to the point.
I need a model who will be anything between 25-36 weeks on that date and they must be willing for their images to be shared online as part of my marketing efforts.
Wondering what you can expect from this maternity photoshoot in Glamorgan? The session will be roughly one hour, during a (hopefully) beautiful golden sunset. I ask if you can wear a white bikini which you will need to supply. I will also be bringing along two beautiful flowing dresses created specially for maternity photoshoots. Models must be comfortable with being photographed in their bikini and not be afraid to get a bit wet in the sea! You will then receive one digital image as well as a 25% discount on a newborn session should you choose to celebrate your fourth trimester with me!
All applications must be made by the 8th of April.
